One of the accused in the case for which Norma Acosta is detained for the self-staged attack on her house in the Santa Fe city of Rosario has turned herself in. For investigators, the main hypothesis is that the owner of the attacked house, who on different occasions denounced drug trafficking gangs and police officers, devised the plan to incriminate the provincial security forces.

This Tuesday, Mayra Daiana G. presented herself at the headquarters of the Special Unit for Internal Affairs of the Santa Fe Police in Rosario as she was wanted at the request of prosecutor Pablo Socca for the cause of aggravated public intimidation with the use of a firearm.

The authorities explained that the 33-year-old woman is being investigated for her supposed participation in the organization of the self-staged attack that Norma Acosta reported in May 2025 to frame the Police and for which she was later detained and charged.

Acosta is a member of an organization of prisoners' relatives in Rosario and on different occasions denounced drug trafficking gangs and police for collusion. However, based on the investigative work, it was determined that the episode had been organized by the homeowner herself, Norma Acosta.

According to the accusation, Acosta would have ordered the shooting against her own home, whose execution was attributed to Juan José Gómez, alias “JJ”, who also remains detained, along with three other men from the Newell's barra brava who would have participated in the intelligence and attack tasks.

In this context, Mayra G. was suspected of participating in the events due to her romantic relationship with Emiliano “Jija” Avejera, identified as a hitman for the Los Monos gang and convicted.

In the fiscal accusation, it is highlighted that she “would not be alien to the planning and materialization of the armed attack that occurred last year”.

Avejera, former leader of the Newell's barra brava and currently detained, was captured in the province of Córdoba in 2018, suspected of being related to the murder of Jonatan “Bam Bam” Funes and other serious crimes.

In this sense, they highlighted that prior to the detention of Mayra G., raids were carried out on two homes linked to the accused, as confirmed by the police report to which the Argentine News Agency had access.

The investigation links her to an event that occurred on May 7, 2025, at a home located on Larguía street at 3400, where a shootout occurred that was reported as an external attack.
